About Ray Foundation
Ray Foundation is a Sierra Leone-focused nonprofit organization committed to helping young people move from education to opportunity. We believe education should not end at the classroom door. It should lead to confidence, skills, livelihoods, leadership, and service. Ray Foundation was founded by Raymond Steven and shaped by lived experience: the belief that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. Raymond grew up knowing what a single open door can mean for a child in Sierra Leone — and Ray Foundation exists to open that door for the next generation. In 2026, our focus is one clear promise: finish the 7-classroom school that will serve children from nine rural villages.

To help young people in Sierra Leone move from education to opportunity through learning support, mentorship, entrepreneurship, and technology skills.
Our Approach
We work through education, Youth4AI, entrepreneurship, and mentorship. These four pillars help young people build the knowledge, skills, confidence, and support they need to create better futures for themselves and their communities.
