Raymond Steven

President

Raymond Bobson Steven is a committed advocate for education and community development in Sierra Leone. He holds a bachelor’s degree in public policy and administration and is pursuing a Master of Public Administration at Brigham Young University, focusing on nonprofit management and program evaluation. Born in Kenema, Sierra Leone, Raymond’s early experience walking long distances to attend school shaped his belief in education as a tool for lasting change. He is passionate about improving lives through better policies and hopes to contribute to progress in education, leadership, and public service in his home country.

Tiffany Stanger

Tiffany Stanger

Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Human Development from Utah State University. She has a strong love for family life and enjoys organizing, cleaning, and baking in her free time. A mother of seven two girls and five boys she is devoted to creating a happy, structured home environment. Earlier in life, she traveled extensively and visited countries such as Japan, France, England, Italy, Belgium, Egypt, Israel, Mexico, and Canada. These experiences gave her a broad perspective and deepened her appreciation for different cultures and traditions.

Samuel Saidu

Samuel Saidu

Board Member 

Samuel Faraday Saidu is a committed public health practitioner from Sierra Leone with experience in both local and international health settings. He holds a B.S. in Public Health from Brigham Young University–Idaho and a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Epidemiology from North Dakota State University. He has worked with Caritas International, PLAN International, and Save the Children, and served as a Community Health Worker at the Bear River Health Department during the COVID-19 pandemic. Samuel is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Social Research at NDSU and is passionate about advancing global health and epidemiological research.

Dean Coleman

Dean Coleman brings over 25 years of leadership and business experience across the private sector, non-profits, and the U.S. Federal Government. He is a faculty member in the Business Management Department at BYU-Idaho, where he teaches, mentors, and advises the Business Management Society. Before joining BYU-I, he led strategic initiatives and supported national security programs within the U.S. Intelligence Community. Dean holds a B.S. from BYU and an MBA from The George Washington University. He is a proud husband, father of three, and grandfather.

Emma Haddock

Emma Haddock

Board member 

Emma Haddock holds a degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Brigham Young University–Idaho. She has a deep love for the outdoors and enjoys hiking, running, and exploring new places with her family. Her travels have taught her that, no matter where we come from, we are all connected—and one of the strongest connections is through education. Emma is grateful for the growth her education has provided and is proud to support the mission of the Ray Foundation in creating opportunities for others to learn and thrive.

His dedication to service is rooted in the belief that even small efforts can make a lasting impact. Sonny finds deep purpose in uplifting others and continues to be inspired by the power of giving back.

Teagan is studying Graphic Design at Brigham Young University–Idaho and is passionate about using her creative talents to make a difference. She is excited to support the Ray Foundation’s mission while continuing to grow her skills. Teagan dreams of traveling the world and exploring the rich cultures and design styles found in different countries, combining her love for art and global connection.
