In the heart of Tikonko Chiefdom, Sierra Leone, children gather each day to learn in a school built from mud and sticks, fragile walls that cannot withstand the rains, and classrooms without proper desks or shelter. Yet, their determination to learn remains unshaken. At the Ray Foundation, we believe these children deserve more. That’s why we’ve begun the construction of a new 7-classroom school, a space built not just with cement and bricks, but with hope, dignity, and the belief that education changes everything. This project is more than a building. It is a symbol of what’s possible when communities rise together. We are not just laying foundations for classrooms; we are laying foundations for a future where no child is left behind because of where they were born. Join us as we build more than a school.
